CUL ART 50SS Special Studies: Culinary Arts

Units: 1-2
Prerequisites: CUL ART 1 Introduction to Hospitality Industry or CUL ART 3 Sanitation and Safety or CUL ART 5 Commercial Food Preparation or CUL ART 7 Baking with a grade of “C” or better.
A student must have completed a minimum of 12 units at the District and have a 2.5 minimum overall grade point average within the course discipline. In addition, an independent study contract must be signed by the student, instructor of record, and dean who will certify the student is qualified for enrollment.
