E TECH 31 Fundamentals of Civil Drafting

Prerequisites: E TECH 12 Computer-Aided Drafting with a grade of “C” or better, and successful completion of Beginning Algebra or appropriate placement as determined by the college’s multiple measures assessment process.
This course is an introduction to conventional drafting practices used in typical civil engineering projects. Emphasis is placed on the drafting and understanding of subdivision mapping, structural plans, and structural details including steel, wood, masonry, and reinforced concrete structures. A complete project portfolio is developed. (HBCU, CSU)
