FASHION 33 Alterations and Fit

Prerequisites: FASHION 30 Basic Industry Sewing with a grade of “C” or better.
This course is designed to provide the student with skills necessary to fit and alter ready-to-wear or custom garments to customer specifications. The student learns techniques for fitting garments to various body types and the skills for altering commercial and custom patterns, as well as operating home and commercial sewing machines, pressing equipment, and sewing tools.
