CUL ART 30A Wine Sales Units: 1.5 This course is an exploration of the wine industry’s business of sales and distribution at regional and national levels while examining the three-tiered system in this country. The course provides a look into retail and wholesale pricing and the effect on the winery’s sales goals. Students will also examine the role of brokers and distributors, reviewing the costs involved including margins, mark-ups, freight, taxes as well as importing and exporting wine. (CSU)
