DANCE 34A Social Dance I

This course explores indigenous, ethnic, and culturally-derived movement aesthetics. It also covers the traditional significance, origins, movement patterns, and basic steps of various social dance forms. Latin, Caribbean, Asian and Pacific Islander, and more social dance forms are available for exploration. Field trips may be required. (HBCU, UC, CSU)
