COM ST 2 Oral Interpretation of Literature

This course is an introduction to performance studies: analysis, appreciation, and application of theories of interpretive performance of various forms of literature including poetry, prose, and drama (plays, scripts, and screenplays). This course also examines how language and performance generate and communicate meaning from a theoretical, historical, critical, and aesthetic perspectives. (CSU, UC, C-ID COMM 170)
