MATH 1 Calculus I Units: 5 Hours: 90 hours LEC Grade Options: Letter Grade General Education: Delta Area 1B; CSU Area B4; IGETC Area 2 Prerequisites: MATH 38A Precalculus I and MATH 38B Precalculus II or MATH 39 Precalculus with a grade of “C” or better, or successful completion of Precalculus or appropriate placement as determined by the college’s multiple measures assessment process . This course is the first course in differential and integral Calculus. Topics include: limits and continuity, techniques of differentiation and integration, the Fundamental Theorem of Calculus and applications of differentiation and integration.
