MUSIC 29 Jazz Band

This course is dedicated to the rehearsal and performance of jazz band literature with emphasis on sight-reading and public performance. The course includes concentration on the techniques and styles of jazz, jazz-rock, and improvisation. The student may receive credit for this course for a maximum of four semesters.
