WELDING 90 Shielded Metal Arc Welding (SMAW) - Laboratory Skills

Hours: 108 hours LAB
Grade Options: Letter Grade
Limitations on Enrollment: Health and Safety
Advisories: WELDING 10 , WELDING 82 , WELDING 84 , WELDING 86 , or WELDING 88  with a grade of “C” or better.
This course is designed to develop enhanced manipulatory abilities for students requiring extensive Shielded Metal Arc Welding skills for the field in which they are entering. The course includes theory and practical application of Shielded Metal Arc Welding in a variety of positions on ferrous and non-ferrous materials. Units earned in this course do not count toward the associate degree.
