This course is an introduction to the history of the history and design of architecture, interiors, and furniture styles from the 19th century to the present. This course is designed to acquaint students with the importance of political, social, economic, and historical factors that influenced interior and furniture styles of various periods, as well as the influence of historical periods on today’s design.
