This course is designed to introduce computerized accounting using QuickBooks. The course provides practical experience in the use of master files, transactions, and reports. The student manipulates software features to accomplish accounting cycle tasks pertaining to a service business and a merchandising business. Tasks include creating a company, recording transactions, closing an accounting period and preparing reports.
