ECE 35 Adult Supervision and Mentoring in Early Care and Education
Units: 3 Hours: 54 hours LEC Grade Options: Letter Grade Term Typically Offered: Every spring term Prerequisites:ECE 21 Child and Adolescent Development, ECE 31A Principles and Practices of Teaching Young Children, and ECE 31B Introduction to ECE Curriculum each with a grade of “C” or better. Advisories: ECE 32A with a grade of “C” or better. This course addresses methods and principles of supervising student teachers, volunteers, staff, and other adults in early care and education settings. Emphasis is on the roles and development of early childhood professionals as mentors and leaders. (CSU)
