This is an introductory course in Computer Science. It presents a broad-based overview of computer science and assumes no prior background in Computer Science, programming, or mathematics. The algorithmic foundation of computer science will be studied, and also various subject matter in the diverse areas of Computer Science. They will include computer hardware, computer software, networking, security, virtual computers, and social issues in computing. (UC, CSU, C-ID COMP 112)
