Prerequisites: ELEC 31 Electrical Wiring Methods or ELEC 77 Industrial Wiring Methods with a grade of “C” or better.
Limitations on Enrollment: Journey level proficiency in the construction electrical field or 3 or more years of field experience as an electrician.
This course provides preparation for students taking the State of California’s General Electrician Journeyman Certification examination. Topics include review of the National Electrical Code (NEC), and code requirements for electrical circuits, motors, transformers, raceways, outlet boxes and junction boxes.
