Prerequisites: SPAN 1 Elementary Spanish I, SPAN 1H Honors Elementary Spanish I or two years high school Spanish with a grade of “C” or better.
This course continues to teach language acquisition in a cultural context through listening, speaking, reading and writing at the second semester level. The students will continue to interact with authentic language in cultural context. The course explores the diversity of cultures of the Spanish-speaking world by analyzing historical perspectives, cultural behaviors, social institutions and literary and artistic manifestations.
