This classroom/lab instruction course for Coach Operator Apprentices emphasizes the implementation of ADA accessibility features and strategies for accommodating passengers with disabilities. It aims to ensure equal access to transit services. Additionally, apprentices will learn effective communication techniques, best practices for fostering positive interactions with all passengers, and ways to enhance the overall transit experience for everyone. Per California Code of Regulations, this course is limited to students admitted to the Bus Operator Apprenticeship Program. Units earned in this course do not count toward the Associate degree.
