ANTHR 050H Special Studies: Anthropology

Units: 1-2
Prerequisites: ANTHR 001 Cultural Anthropology or ANTHR 002 Biological Anthropology or ANTHR 010 Introduction to Archaeology each with a grade of “B” or better.
Limitations on Enrollment: Limitations on Enrollment: A student must have completed a total of at least 12 units of transfer course work with an overall grade point average of at least 3.0. In addition, an independent study contract must be completed by the student, faculty member, and Division Dean.
This course is designed to allow the qualified student to do advanced work in Anthropology. The course includes research, directed reading, field work, or other advanced study which must be arranged and approved by the instructor and the division dean before enrolling in the course. (CSU)
