MACH 074B Computer Numerical Controlled Machining - Lathe

Prerequisites: MACH 070B Machining Fundamentals II with a grade of “C” or better.
This course combines manual machining processes with automatedmachining equipment. Students will develop programs using “G” and “M”codes to automate the machining process. The major emphasis of the course is the programming of the Computer Numerical Controlled (CNC) lathes. In addition to programming, the student will develop setup procedures and operating techniques commonly used in industry.
