Units: 2 Prerequisites: RAD 010 Introduction to Radiography, with a grade of “C” or better. Corequisites: RAD 011 Radiographic Positioning and Terminology, and RAD 013 Principles of Radiographic Technique. Limitations on Enrollment: Admission to the Radiologic Technology Program. This course is designed to introduce anatomical terminology; cell division; structure of skin, bones and joints; as well as structure of the extremities, vertebral column, and thorax. Radiographic imaging methods of these structures are presented, as well as common pathological conditions identified in radiography. (CSU)
