COM ST 2 Oral Interpretation of Literature

This course is an introduction to performance studies. Analysis, appreciation, and application of theories of interpretive performance of various forms of literature including poetry, prose, and drama. Through selecting, reading, analyzing, editing and interpreting culturally diverse literature, students will better understand the structural and aesthetic components of narrative and performance.
