CHEM 51H Special Studies: Organic Chemistry

Units: 1-2
Prerequisites: CHEM 12A Organic Chemistry with a grade of “C” or better.
Limitations on Enrollment: Limitation on Enrollment: A student must have completed a total of at least 12 units of transfer course work with an overall grade point average of at least 3.0. In addition, an independent study contract must be completed by the student, faculty member, and Dean.
This course is designed to allow a qualified student to do advanced work in the field of organic chemistry. The course includes research, directed reading, field work, or other advanced study which must be arranged and approved by the instructor and the Dean before enrolling in the course. (CSU)
