ALTW 131 Adaptive Learning-Transition to Work-Reading

This non-credit course is designed for students with intellectual disabilities. This course assists students in developing the survival reading skills necessary for successful, independent and semi-independent living. Areas of study include: basic reading and comprehension skills and recognition of community based information including signs, menus and calendars. Basic writing and composition skills are also included.
