Electrical Technology - Electrical Maintenance Certificate of Achievement

Upon successful completion of the Electrical Technology - Electrical Maintenance certificate, the student demonstrates knowledge and skills of the electrical industry in the capacity of a beginning maintenance electrician, preferably factory or industrial training program, where the students compare, contrast, and apply basic electrical theory and other major portions of the electrical maintenance field. This coursework will help the student enter a career pathway to becoming a Journeyman Maintenance in a factory for the basic maintenance of electrical systems.

Program Learning Outcomes

Upon successfully completing this program, students will be able to:

  1. Demonstrate skills in the electrical industry in the capacity of a beginning maintenance electrician, preferably with a employer sponsored on-the-job training program where the students compare, contrast, and apply basic electrical theory and other major portions of the maintenance of electrical systems.
  2. Demonstrate knowledge for safe entry into electrical on-the-job training programs with an employer for maintenance of electrical systems.
