Business Certificate of Achievement

Upon successful completion of the Business Certificate of Achievement, the student will demonstrate the skills, knowledge, and training necessary for entry-level employment or career advancement. This program offers courses designed to give students an understanding of business operations, marketing, ethics, business law, supervision, management concepts and be used as an introduction to other areas of business including entrepreneurship, logistics, management, international business.

Upon successful completion of this program, students will be able to:

1. Explain the importance of the global economy in labor, capital, trade, and the role it plays in the overall success of business organizations.
2. Compare and contrast the functions of production, marketing, and human resources within the business organization.
3. Analyze workplace scenarios identifying legal, ethical, and socially responsible situations and apply the concepts learned in this program.
4. Understand and apply basic business, marketing, and management concepts.
5. Understand ethical and legal issues in business situations.
