Upon successful completion of the noncredit Digital Imaging Certificate of Completion, the student will demonstrate skills, knowledge, and training for entry-level employment or career advancement in fields where image creation, editing, and retouching are standard practice. Students will work to understand media management, while also learning basic techniques in digital imaging, including blending, masking, working with layers, and using filters. Emphasis will be on creation and curation of portfolio-ready pieces for employment.
Program Learning Outcomes
Upon successful completion of this program, students will be able to:
- Demonstrate and apply processes related to the creation and manipulation of images.
- Demonstrate knowledge of various basic photo editing techniques and effects as they relate to good design application.
- Demonstrate industry-specific employability skills related to digital imaging.
