Intercollegiate Athletics

The Intercollegiate Athletics Certificate of Achievement is designed for students who wish to participate in intercollegiate athletics at San Joaquin Delta College. It provides student athletes with the opportunity to develop skills related to leadership, teamwork, collaboration, and personal responsibility within a team environment. More specific jobs include employment opportunities at recreational centers, YMCA and Boys and Girls Clubs. Students who complete this certificate will have demonstrated excellence in intercollegiate-related athletic courses.

Program Learning Outcomes

Upon successful completion of this program, students will be able to:

1. Gain transferable life skills related to teamwork, collaboration, dedication, and completion.
2. Follow industry practices in intercollegiate-related occupations.
