RAD 11 Radiographic Positioning and Terminology Units: 6 Prerequisites: RAD 10 Introduction to Radiography with a grade of “C” or better. Corequisites: RAD 12 and RAD 13 . Limitations on Enrollment: Admission to the Radiologic Technology Program. This course is designed to introduce positioning techniques, medical terminology, and anatomy as they relate to the chest, abdomen, extremities, shoulder and pelvic girdles, spinal column, and alimentary system. Portable and operating room procedures, proper equipment selection, immobilization, and radiation protection procedures are stressed. Identification of anatomical structures is supported through film critique sessions of radiographs. (CSU)
