HORT 2 Plant Identification and Culture- Fall

Units: 3
Hours: 36 hours LEC; 54 hours LAB
Grade Options: Letter Grade or Pass/No Pass
Term Typically Offered: Every fall term
Advisories: HORT 1 Environmental Horticulture  with a grade of “C” or better.
This course teaches the identification, naming, growth habits, culture, and use of plants adapted to the climates of California and commonly found in regional landscapes. This course covers those plants best observed and studied during the fall. California native plants will also be included. Laboratory required. (UC, CSU, C-ID AG-EH 112 112L)
