MATH 1 Calculus I Units: 5 Hours: 90 hours LEC Grade Options: Letter Grade General Education: Delta Area 2; Cal-GETC Area 2 Term Typically Offered: Every term Prerequisites: MATH 38A Precalculus I with a grade of “C” or better. MATH 38B Precalculus II , MATH 38BEX Precalculus II with Support , MATH 39 Precalculus , or MATH 40EX Preparation for Calculus I with a grade of “C” or better, or successful completion of Precalculus or appropriate placement as determined by the college’s multiple measures assessment process or Corequisites: MATH 9002 . This course is the first course in differential and integral Calculus. Topics include: limits and continuity, techniques of differentiation and integration, the Fundamental Theorem of Calculus and applications of differentiation and integration.
