AUTOMECH 96A Fuel Management and Computer Controls

Prerequisites: AUTOMECH 73 Basic Engine Performance and Electrical Systems with a grade of “C” or better.
Corequisites: AUTOMECH 73.
This course is designed to prepare the student to troubleshoot and diagnose automotive fuel-injection systems, engine computer systems, emission systems, and some carburetion systems. The student completing the requirements of AUTOMECH 96A, Fuel Management and Computer Controls and AUTOMECH 96B, Ignition Systems and Electronic Engine Controls, is eligible to test to receive certification for the approved Clean Air Car course from the State of California Bureau of Automotive Repair.
