ECON 50H Special Studies: Economics Units: 1-4 Prerequisites: ECON 5 Principles of Macroeconomics or ECON 3 Principles of Microeconomics each with a grade of “B” or better. Limitations on Enrollment: Present a project proposal acceptable to the instructor and Dean. To qualify for 50H, a student must have completed a total of at least 12 units of transfer course work with an overall grade point average of at least 3.0. In addition, an independent study contract must be completed by the student, faculty member, and Dean. This course is designed to allow the qualified students to do advanced work in the field. The course includes research, directed reading, field work, or other advanced study. (CSU)
