The Entrepreneurship certificate prepares students to launch a new business. The focus is on developing the entrepreneurial mindset, identifying and evaluating business opportunities, pitching the business idea, and developing a business plan.

Program Learning Outcomes

Students will apply marketing, sales, advertising and customer service strategies to launch successful businesses.
The student will demonstrate the understanding of basic bookkeeping as well as the area of risk management.
The student will demonstrate the knowledge needed to create and effectively pitch the business plan to prospective lenders and investors.
