AH SC 11C Intermediate Livestock Evaluation Units: 2 Prerequisites: AH SC 11B Beginning Livestock Evaluation with a grade of “C” or better. This course is designed to introduce the student to the basic factors involved in evaluation and selection of breeding, feeder and market animals and the application of these factors in the livestock industry. The visual appraisal of live animals and carcasses, combined with production records, will be used to determine the practical usefulness and productivity of livestock. Students will learn the art of presenting a complete set of oral reasons. (UC, CSU)
