Administrative Executive Assistant Certificate of Achievement

Upon successful completion of the Administrative Executive Assistant Certificate of Achievement, the student demonstrates intermediate to advanced skills, knowledge, and training for intermediate to advanced levels of administrative support occupations and first-line supervisor of office and administrative support occupations, similar to: Executive Administrative Assistant, Administrative Office Professional, Administrative Office Manager, Administrative Service Manager, and Business Office Manager. Graduates of this program will demonstrate intermediate to advanced competencies in Microsoft Office Professional Suite and Google Workspace applications. Graduates will perform a broad range of intermediate to advanced administrative and management tasks that require knowledge and skills at that level, with a high degree of independent judgment and strong business communication skills. This certificate is level three in the four-tier Administrative Executive Professional/Office Manager career pathway, providing a strong foundation for continued advancement in administrative and managerial careers.

Program Learning Outcomes

Upon successful completion of this program, students will be able to:

  1. Demonstrate foundational to intermediate ethical awareness and responsible application and use of data from Generative Artificial Intelligence (GenAI) powered applications. Students will identify, explain, and apply best practices for integrating GenAI data and information into administrative professional documents and workplace tasks.
  2. Demonstrate advanced proficiency in current office technology applications, including word processing, spreadsheets, databases, and presentation software to produce professional business documents and reports.
  3. Organize and manage administrative operations, including scheduling, records management, document preparation, and coordination of office activities, following established business procedures and ethical standards.
  4. Demonstrate the ability to format memorandums, letters, e-mails, and other business documents to communicate effectively orally and in writing in an office environment.

This certificate provides a foundation for the Administrative Executive Professional/Office Manager pathway, and represents Level 3 of 4 in the Administrative Executive Professional/Office Manager, Associate in Science Degree pathway.

Complete all courses with a grade of “C” or better.
